Here's a possible blurb for promotional materials.  We also have a fantastic logo at the Books 2 Prisoners website (www.books2prisoners.org).  Please feel free to let me know if this isn't quite what you're looking for and we can add or subtract.
By the way, I think that your web announcement mentions Pages for Prisoners in Bloomington, IN not us. http://www.admin.uiuc.edu/mlk/calendar/calendar.html

UC Prisoners is a local grassroots organization providing books to prisoners serving time in Illinois prisons.  The organization also provides books and volunteer staff for the Champaign County Jail.  (www.books2prisoners.org)

Frequently requested books include: paperback dictionaries, poetry, African American literature, GED study guides, career development guides, "how to draw" books, urban fiction, foreign language dictionaries, & textbooks.
