[Bookstoprisoners] fun today!&update

Hi everyone,
I'm writing from the BtP beehive-of-a-workroom. We are both answering
letters and getting ready for next week's book sale.

Emma has been packaging all day. Carl did input of orders into the database
for 2 hours.  Jay and Andrea pulled for orders and Susan B. sorted.

We only have about 10 or so more letter from the backlog  Indiana. A far as
letters that are addressed to us...we are filling orders from Sept 28. That
is tremendous. We are only about a month... from when we receive a
request... to when we ship to an inmate.

print out the flier for the book sale from this link and hang them
everywhere!

Please try to come in this week before Thursday and carry some of the books
from the "Avalance room" (downstairs) to the book sale room (upstairs). Just
stack the boxes neatly against a wall in the "sun room."  Preferably, find
Chris and ask him where to put them, but if you can't find him just keep
them against a wall and neat. If we all bring a friend, and carry 5 or 10
boxes it would be great. If you don't have a key please call me and set up a
time for me to meet you there. 217-367-6345

Regarding hiring the volunteer coordinator. Jay and Suzanne and I discussed
it and want to wait until we see what are funds are after the book sale.

Who can make a general flier about BtP, that we can hand out at the book
sale and other places?
