WOWWWWWW!!!!! Our name and site is sure getting around these days! Halleluiah! B2P has made the "big time".

You can always have them ship the books to us! Our address is on the site but you can send it to them if they request info by email. We could use some high school level books. We get plenty of college but not nearly enough lower level math and science. As long as we don't have to drive up there to get them that is!

We should all be very proud! Great work people!!!!

Suzanne picked up a copy of the Tribune and found our web site listed in the Chicago Tribune Magazine (a glossy insert in Sunday's paper). It's listed in a side bar called "20 (mostly) quick and painless ways to brighten tomorrow TODAY"

  We're listed as number 5.

  5. Help a prisoner learn
Donate used books, especially text books, to prisoners so that incarcerated men and women can work toward a high school equivalency or college degree. books2prisoners.org

While it's likely just a convenient case of a lazy reporter assuming our authoritative domain name and good search result rankings means that our scope is larger than it in fact is, I'll take it! Our web site had its busiest day and weekend ever with over 2,500 hits so far this weekend from more than 130 unique visitors.

So far the extra volume of messages I've gotten today are people interested in donating books, who I've been referring to the Chicago projects, but I think it's all good :)

    Dear Jay,
I read about your organization today in the Chicago Tribune. I have 22 highschool textbooks, our last child is a high school senior. They are all in good condition and most are math and science with some Spanish textbooks.
Please let me know where I should send them.
    Sincerely,
    Polly Hawkins
