We are sorry for the problem.  Several of us were there working (some since 10 am) and I had unlocked the Elm St. door earlier. We  had a new volunteer that got in that way around 2. However, with the security problems it could have been relocked by another tenant at IMC.  If that happens again, the back door (by the dumpster) has a doorbell.

The problem of the "door being relocked"  during our work sessions has happened before and it really frustrates us as much as it does our volunteers when they can't get in!  

We will continue to work on the problem and hopefully come up with a solution that will work for the IMC and B2P. Maybe we can get the IMC to install another doorbell at the Elm St. entrance. 

I'll see you Tuesday night!  Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.  We can always use your help!

  I've been meaning to come to more packing sessions since I got back home for the summer -- I went to a couple but I've had conflicts the past week or so.  However, yesterday I tried to come to do some work and come to the meeting, and I was unable to get into the IMC -- all the doors were locked.  I just thought I'd write and ask which door(s) are usually unlocked and best for BTP volunteers to use during "pack-a-thons".  I know there's been a lot of talk at the IMC recently about improving security... maybe that's why the doors were locked yesterday.  But I know in the past at least one door was always kept unlocked during regular BTP volunteering hours.  Is that still the case? Is there another way we should be getting into the building?
