BTPers--
We are in need of people who are willing to contact grocery stores and
restaurants to ask for donations of food for the National Conference of
Prison Book Projects. Most of the grocery stores in town have a form that
you fill out a couple months in advance, so this work can start now. I was
looking at the Schnuck's website and they give the guidelines of what you
need to submit in order to ask for a donation. They also say they don't
normally support conferences--I don't know if there is a way to word things
in our request so we leave conference out? We are only charging people $20
to attend so it's not like we are a big conference. They seem to be the
only place that has their policies on line

If you are willing to do some of this leg work, please let me know and I
will help you brainstorm a list of places to contact and work up the
language for what we are asking for.
Thanks!
Suzanne
