I asked that a discussion to decide the process for handling out-of-state  prisoner requests be put on this agenda.   We  have letters from Feb 2007.   Apparently some groups at the conference agreed to take 'their' letters that we backed up here and if we forward them in the future.  Do we want to do that?  How do we want to treat the requests that nobody is willing to claim?  Jamie

Our monthly BTP Business Meeting is scheduled for this Saturday at 1:00 in the BTP work room.  All present, past and potential volunteers are encouraged to attend, we hope that all Keystaff who are able will participate in this one hour meeting.



Conference Wrap Up - 

    Pay for shipping of books packed during conference?

    Provide seed money for next conference?

    Purchase Aaron Ammons book for library / mailing



Accounting - 
    IMC Finance is requesting our assistance to improve transparency

    Should we turn the responsibility of accounting over to IMC Finance (we would retain control of our checking account)?



BTP Process Flow - 
    Should we list number & titles of the books included in a package?

Postal Liaison Position - 

    We need someone to ensure that our packages are mailed and paid for.

    It appears that we do not have a volunteer for this critical job, Should we offer to pay Chris to do this?


Purchasing Specific Books - 
    Suggestion that we might purchase "certain resource books"



Mission Statement Discussion -

    Key Staff recently crafted a mission statement (posted on mission page of web site)

    Discussion about further tuning of the statement.
