Great bunch of ideas, Deb on the alternative gifting. Thanks Suzanne
for the heads up. I certainly would like to do the cards again and to
help out in other ways,...but just not in the next two weeks while i
am getting the housing all together for the conference and preparing
for the weekend of Terry Davis, a volunteer investigator for the
Mychal Bell case) speaking about Jena, LA.

If we could agree to co-sponsor the Unity March on October 13 (for
$25) 12 - 3, I would carry a Books to Prisoners sign in the last mile
of the Unity March and we could get our name on the publicity and I
would mention us at the Appreciation Dinner at the Girls and Boys Club
in North Champaign where Terry Davis (from Chicago) will be speaking
briefly about Jena, La. This is a neighborhood where we could use more
visibility!
