Are you still interested in attending the National Conference of Prison Book
Projects? If you or members of your group are planning on attending and
haven't registered, please do so as soon as possible. We have space for
about ten more folks and then we will max out our capacity. We do not
anticipate being able to do on-site registration so if you are planning on
attending, please
register<http://www.books2prisoners.org/conference/registration.html>now.

We recently updated the conference
website<www.books2prisoners.org/conference/>with a more detailed
schedule <http://www.books2prisoners.org/conference/schedule.html> as well
as other interesting stuff. Take a look around and decide if you will be
joining us November 2-4.

In case you are wondering, we have almost 80 people registered from (in no
particular order) Philadelphia Books Through Bars, Urbana-Champaign Books to
Prisoners, Ithaca Books Through Bars, Chicago Books to Women in Prison
Project, Cleveland Books to Prisoners, Appalachian Prison Book Project, Jail
Library Group, UW-Madison, Ashland, WI Allies to Prisoners, Prison Book
Program of Boston, Portland b2p, Ohio Jail Libraries, Inside Books Project
of Austin, Passages Academy/ Literacy for Teens, Midwest Pages to Prisoners
Bloomington, IN, Education Beyond Bars, Women's Prison Book Project

Library, Books Through Bars Philly, Books 2 Prisoners Louisiana, Claremont
Forum/Prison Library Project, DC Area Books to Prisons Project, The Fiona
Project, Bellingham Books To Prisoners, Books through Bars NYC, HEADS UP,
and Pathfinder Press!

Hope to see you in November,
Suzanne
