Sorry to be a bit late with the reporting...
Evelyn and Esther lost count on the number of readers;
50 at least. We got started late (because the guards were
not ready to take us in), and finished late. Esther stayed
until 9:30, and not exactly happy about it. They waited
until the end to let the "segregated" guys come, and of
course these are the folks who most need books, so we didn't
like to leave without giving them a chance to visit. Have
other librarians had this happen?
In the box there were some books for Marcella Maggi;
the guard said she had been moved to the satellite, and
took the books up there (said she was going up Monday
evening). [Hmm, I seem to have Maggi's card here, and will
try to drop it off before Friday morning. There are 6 books
listed, but she may or may not have been able to take the
4 she checked out last week.]
REQUESTS:
For Savoie -- "Malice" by D. Steele
For Sparnicht -- anything by Gary Zukov
For Pickett -- Spanish/English dictionary
For Blake May, and for Khailies Terry -- anything by __ Zane
(May thought one title might be "Skyscrapers")
