Hello All,

I have been searching high and low on the web for a crockpot recipe site
that meets two criteria.
1) All recipes are “low points”
2) All recipes have nutritional information or points already calculated.

I have found one and if you have any tips, please let me know so that I can
pass them on.

Here is the link.

No great way to print these out… my recommendations are to cut and paste the
ones you want into “Word” and then print that document out.

Personal Update,
I had a fabulous skiing vacation, by train, to Winter Park Colorado .I am
now keeping busy in my studio with painting and with classes. I’m
maintaining what I am calling my “winter weight” through practice of…

1)	Cooking healthy. I’m not always so diligent when I go out, or when I’m
eating dessert -- but I am doing plenty of planning and preparation. This is
the basis of my good eating habits. Remember, you have to BUY the fruits and
vegetables first! Also, I’ve given up on eating meat again. I had been a
vegetarian for four years, but started eating fish thinking that I perhaps
some of my digestion problems that I was having was due to the vegetarian
diet. It turns out that was not the case, but slowly I started eating more
and more meat. I didn’t however very often cook with any meat, (beef,
chicken, or fish), so my healthy vegetarian cooking has been a long time
good habit for me. My primary mercury poisoning (from eating too much tuna)
and then reading about the fact that you should not eat even farm raised
salmon even more than once a month, I decided to throw in the towel on meat
eating altogether. I know some of you might think this is extreme, but for
me it is not such a big step. I don’t want to argue about which study to
believe. I’m just reporting the path I am on.

2)	Exercise Videos. I had really been slacking off the exercise with the
cold weather, but the ski trip got me motivated. I got a half hour
tone-and-stretch video and did it for a month straight, every day except
Christmas leading up to the trip. I could really tell the difference in a
month. And I really didn’t get too sore from skiing. My plan is… just a
little bit every day. As with dieting and any plan for good healthy living
-- it is so much easier to stay on it than to stop and then re-start.

Make a plan for yourself. Diet is not a dirty word. It is just a plan for
your eating. If you need to jump start do something drastic…. Join a group,
throw out your cookies, go spend $30 bucks in the produce department. If you
need to fine tune what you are doing then make a plan for the week. Our
diets are not our life, but they are the one thing in our life that we can
have total control over. You’ll feel better when you make that first step.

Take care and keep in touch.
Sandra
