We were able to donate 231 lbs. of food to the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. These contributions meant that many families experiencing food insecurity were able to have a nutritious Thanksgiving meal. Change in Open Shop Hours Effective immediately, the Downtown Urbana shop will no longer host open shop hours on Wednesday nights. Instead, we will use that time to clean and organize the shop and build up an inventory of refurbished bicycles to sell in the Spring. This reduction in open hours is meant to better serve our members. With the cold comes a reduction in member utilization of open hours, and our limited resources are best spent improving shop operations during this time. We may open Wednesday back up for open hours in the Spring to meet member demand if we have enough volunteers to do so. Meetings Annual Bike Project Meeting: All active members are encouraged to attend. During the Annual Meeting, members will cast a vote for new Steering Committee members and discuss plans for the coming year.
