The meeting will be held remotely: *https://meet.google.com/ivj-vhme-yjg * *Events* *Fix-A-Flat:* Learn the anatomy of your bicycle wheel, how to diagnose air failures, and how to patch a leaky inner tube. Tools and materials supplied to in-person attendants only. *Date:* April 28th 7-8 PM *Location: *Campus Bike Center (51 E Gregory Dr., Champaign, IL. 61820) Register *Bicycle Fix-It Days: *Join Campus Bike Center staff on the Main Quad, who will be providing basic bicycle repairs and diagnoses on a first-come, first-served basis. *Dates:* April 29th and May 9th 12-1 PM *Location:* University of Illinois Main Quad *Friday Rides: *Join a casual (slow) ride around and off-campus to explore the larger C-U community. Rides are typically 5 miles or less. Meet at the Campus Bike Center at 5:30PM and depart at 6:00PM. *Dates:* Every Friday at 5:30 PM *Location:* Campus Bike Center (51 E Gregory Dr., Champaign, IL. 61820) *Circle Cycle Bike-A-Thon:* 8 mile fundraiser bike ride starting at the Illini Union and riding to various historical locations in Champaign-Urbana. Enjoy some fun games and treats along the way. *Date:* April 24th from 12-3 PM *Location:* Illini Union Register *Earth Day Kickapoo Rail Trail Volunteer Clean Up: *Meet at either the Urbana Walmart or at Kolb Park in St. Joe's to sign in and get trash bags or buckets. Volunteers may need to drive or bike to a different location along the trail. Bring work gloves and a water bottle if you have them. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are best. Volunteers can social distance, but please bring a mask for the start. *Date:* April 24, 2021, 10AM-12 PM *Location:* Urbana Walmart or at Kolb Park in St. Joe's Register *Build-A-Bike Program Resumes at Campus Bike Center* The Campus Bike Center has several bikes available for Build-A-Bikes. Members are able to refurbish one of these bikes using the tools available in the shop and under the guidance of experienced mechanics. This is a great way to learn about bicycle maintenance and obtain an inexpensive bicycle. Stop by the Campus Bike Center (51 Gregory Dr., Champaign, IL. 61820) to claim a Build-A-Bike. *Volunteer* The Bike Project needs your help!
