We're almost a fifth of the way to our $5,000 goal and are extending the fundraiser through the end of the year. Please consider making a donation to the link below to support The Bike Project's ongoing work in our community: https://tinyurl.com/4vcvacan In 2022, The Bike Project's volunteers have been rebuilding our cooperatively owned community bike shop after the prolonged closures caused by COVID in 2020 and 2021. In the last year, we [image: ?] expanded open hours from one day to four, and resumed WTFNB (Women, Trans, Femme, and Nonbinary) Night on the second Monday of each month [image: ?] gave away 60 kids bikes in December 2021 during our annual holiday Kids Bike Giveaway (which we're also currently organizing for 2022) [image: ?] refurbished kids bikes for the children of immigrant families at Leal Elementary School [image: ?] fundraised for high-quality lights and locks for Afghan refugees, in collaboration with The Refugee Center [image: ?] raised funds for and distributed bike lights to underserved CU communities and coordinated with community partners to provide continued access to them [image: ?] rebuilt a commuter bike for a community member who had lost theirs in an accident, in partnership with Cunningham Township [image: ?] donated 200+ bicycles to Working Bikes to provide communities in South and Central America and Africa with access to bikes and parts [image: ?] organized community spring and summer rides But, even with our volunteers hustling and building bikes to keep the shop open, we need your help meeting our bottom line for the year and keeping our momentum going into 2023. The Bike Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible.
