Just spotted 2 bits on the national Billionaires list this morning
(billionairesforbushorgore at topica.com) that were too good not to pass along:

1. Zombies for Gore at the DNC: http://la.cacophony.org/zombiegore.html
(the whole LA cacophony site's worth a good look. Grrrr!)

2. A song for rallies (and let's have some soon - the 2 parties have gotta
be thanked for keeping out the competition through the current Nader ballot
challenge!)

Dear fellow billionaires,
Now that we have “gone public” with our true motivations
and our wonderful bipartisan successes,
Let us not forget to rejoice. In public, of course!
In just such a gleeful spirit I have rewritten the words
to an old song celebrating Beautiful America.
Now that it’s OURS let’s sing OUR song!
I’ve copied my new song below,
and attached it as a formatted appleworks document.
Do enjoy it. Sing it at parties. Teach it to the servants!

America, the Beautiful For Billionaires
Oh, beautiful voracious laws,
For all that you have brought,
For tax cuts and for subsidies
 From candidates we bought.
America, America, God sheds his grace on greed,
And billionaires
Increase our share
In any way we please.
Oh, beautiful, for gracious lies
 From networks that we own
For praising our huge mansions while
So many have no home.
America, America, God sheds his grace on greed,
We justify
Our greatness by
Ignoring those in need.
Oh, beautiful for images
For advertising, too;
For blaming of the victims and
For envying the few!
America, America, God sheds his grace on greed,
Scapegoat the poor
And then take more:
That is our common creed.
Oh, beautiful, for corporations,
News we love to hear,
Of power that is concentrated
More and more each year.
America, America, God sheds his grace on greed,
For soon there’ll be
Monopoly
