We are wanting to broaden the membership of this committee to include more of the folks who play a significant role in the well-being of the IMC. As you can note, I've been asked to contact you to ask whether you, as the chair of the Books to Prisoners working group, would be willing to serve on this committee. Our next meeting is Thursday, Feb 16 from 5 - 6:30 pm. We're hoping that you'll be able to say yes. Thanks,Conrad Wetzel217-390-9246wetzelmc at hotmail.com______________________________________________________________________________________________Forwarding: From: danielle at prometheusradio.org

Great! Any way you could use the same letter to thank the donors through Paypal. There were a number and I think personal notes (email is fine since that may be all we have) would be great. - Danielle

Hi All,$1825 was contributed by Sustainers in December. I have sent thank you letters to the following individuals for December donations:
Barbara Kessel

Conrad WetzelYvette SchevenMeg MinorGerri KirchnerFred DavidsonWalter FeinbergAl KaganBen Galewsky (Not a sustainer, but sent a thank-you because of size of donation.)

I can't find an address for Ruth Oppenheim-Rothschild who donated $250, so no thank you was sent.
Any additional donor names that you have, still need a thank you note.

Maybe the fundraising committee can discuss a process of thanking donors so that we don't overlap efforts or miss deserving individuals.
Sounds like a very productive meeting.

NEXT MEETING
Mark your calendars. Our next meeting is Thursday, Feb 16 from 5 - 6:30 pm.

EMAIL

If you want to email everyone on the fundraising committee, you can do so by emailing: bod-fundraising at lists.chambana.net.

SUSTAINERS

The sustainers committee has been merged with the board's fundraising committee to continue that work. Anyone who donated in response to the appeal by the sustainers committee will continue to have their contributions earmarked for the purposes promised by that committee.

We mailed out an appeal to all the sustainers who gave last year asking to renew their contribution.
--> Durl - can you tell us how much has been collected in response?

ANNUAL APPEAL
We made $1,830 from our annual online appeal from 18 donors. Of that $1,000 came from one donor - Ben Galewsky. The appeal went to 3155 members and contacts in our database. 20% opened. 9% bounced. 7% clicked a link. 1% unsubscribed. We need to thank these donors - I will bring thank yous to the board meeting for us to sign.
