Dear friends and music lovers,
After a long layoff, the Backdoor Cajun Band will be gathering to play some music this coming Sunday, June 9 at the Iron Post in downtown Urbana.  We'll start at about 7:00PM and play two sets of traditional Cajun and Creole music - waltzes, two-steps, and some get down zydeco.
This band plays occasionally (or Aux-Cajun-ally) but we always have fun when we get together.  This will be Matt Turino on fiddle, Randy Cordle on bass and mandolin, Sam Payne on guitar, Rob Krumm on accordion and Dave Pride on percussion.
