I'm a volunteer with OpenHatch, a non-profit organization that works to build open source communities by maintaining web tools and running outreach events.  We're planning on running a workshop at UIUC on Sunday, October 7th.  

We’re looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:  
(1) Just being a friendly resource to answer questions from students about whatever open
source project they want to contribute to.
(2) Talking about how open source fits into your career, on a career panel.
(3) Being a teacher or TA to an essential topic, like how open source projects communicate, or
how version control works.
