Champaign IL Weight Watcher Information

I need more time for my other endeavors, hence I am no longer going to be
conducting Weight Watcher meetings on Tuesday at 5:15pm. This is a
bittersweet announcement - for though I am happy that my life has taken a
turn where I can devote more time to my art and writing... I am also very
attached to the members who have loyally attended this meeting with me.

For December, Emily Grant will be the leader. Emily was trained in Chicago
and has been attending my Friday 7:30am meeting. This her first time to
lead meetings at the Weight Watcher Center. Please welcome her. We are
staffing extra help on Wednesday at 5:15 for those of you who may change
from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Holiday Schedule at Champaign Weight Watchers Center

Wednesday, Dec. 25 -- No meetings
Tuesday, Dec. 31 -- Meeting locations close at 3
Wednesday, Jan. 1 -- No meetings
If your regular meeting time is during a "closed" time/day for Weight
Watchers then you will not be penalized for not attending during that week.
(That is -- if your folder is filed in that particular day/time)

100 recipes - The last time I posted this I received feedback that many of
you couldn't open it. So I am sending it in plain text. You won't be able to
"click" on it. But cut and paste or type the address into your web browser.

Here is a website that will download 100 recipes that were submitted to the
WW message boards by a WW member who had lost 100 pounds.
http://www.donnita.com/journal/index.html When you get to the site click on
"recipes." It downloaded the 100 recipes in less than 10 seconds to a "Word"
document on my computer. It took 44 pages to print the entire "book." If
you don’t have word you may have to use one of the other options. These are
down to earth, the-way-most-of-us-really-cook recipes that I think you’ll
enjoy. She has included the points and comments with each recipe. I have not
verified any of the points, but in glancing over them- I think they look
reasonable.

I had the center stock up on our Weight Watcher food scale. You WANT one of
these for Christmas if you don't already have one. As we talked about in
meetings last week - if you weigh and measure at home your really get a good
eye for portion control. I got sold on the scale when I realized that I was
cheating myself out of cheese! No more of that, I said! I'll demonstrate the
scale in meetings this week. In addition we are going to focus on your
specific goals and really low point daytime meals so you can bank those
points for holiday parties.

Hope to see you.
