I'm sure many of you are thinking today is the "the day." If you are 
thinking about changing your eating and exercise habits, please consider 
joining my Changes support group. So many people who have joined are glad 
that they had the support that just can't be offered by a larger impersonal 
group like Weight Watchers and of course it is so much easier to diet if you 
have a support system and a way to "hold yourself accountble."

Besides is fun to learn new places to eat out or share recipes.

Here are all of the details:

Sandra Ahten brings her experience as a weight loss counselor for more than 
5 years to these groups that are designed to help men and women set and 
reach goals regarding weight, diet, and exercise. Support for all types of 
diets and lifestyle changes. Mary Beth Wade, co-facilitator is a Professor 
of Psychology and a Life Coach.

Using this process of checking in weekly members are finding a balance 
between accepting and challenging themselves. Some are finding that no diet 
(just lifestyle change) is really necessary in their lives, other are 
finding that a version of a low carb diet is working for them. Many are 
counting calories or WW points ™. We strive to help you find peace with 
yourself in your efforts. It’s working! Whether you have 10 or 100 pounds to 
lose please think about joining us.

Tuesday 10am ( have 4 opening)
Tuesday 5pm (group full)
Tuesday 6:45 pm (new group, starts January 11)
Saturday 9am (have 4 openings)

The first 1/2 hour of the group time is for weigh-in and time to making 
plans for the week. (This 1/2 hour optional). The next hour is spent with 
facilitators and the group defining goals, understanding barriers to 
reaching those goals, and determining specific steps.

Bring a journal or some kind of notebook to write in. But I'll have one 
there for you in case you are coming straight from work and don't have 
anything with you.

I know you are probably a little nervous. But I just wanted to reassure you 
that you will find warmth and acceptance (as well as success in weight loss) 
and mostly peace of mind in regards to your eating /diet habits.

We meet at the Lincoln Building, 44 E. Main Street, downtown Champaign. 
Across from Jos E Kuhn Dept Store and Jupiter’s Pizza. (Pilates Center and 
Comic book store - on street level) We meet on the fourth floor. Look for 
signs when you get out of elevator.

The cost is $95 for 5 sessions or $150 for 10 sessions.
