[Community] town hall SPEAK OUT Forum

Hi All,

The major question here is set up- we'll need the two events to happen in different spaces (i.e. the sun room and the main space) because we can't set up while they are still happening.

I think that's totally possible, and that it would be a good idea to have the healthcare event that morning before the open house.

This seems like an issue between shows and community connections. Can we take it off the big list?

I can't make it to either, but the Better Health Care SPEAK OUT looks great and we should support.
This event might also function to bring more new faces into the IMC which is the objective of the open house.
Any synchronized activities would be the best for us all.

Hi All,

Here is a request I received for use of the space
on July 25th. As you know that is also the day of the open house. According to
the calendar the open house starts at 11am, and this event would end by 11. Will
this be a conflict with the open house? It could provide a crowd to begin the
open house. Let me know what people think. This could be a good event to have at
the IMC. I would assume they will receive a fair amount of press
coverage.

Thanks,

Hi,

I am an organizer with the Campaign for Better Health
Care here in Champaign.  We are looking to host a Town Hall SPEAK OUT Forum
on July 25th about health care reform and we are looking for a space for about
100 people from 8:30 to 11am on July 25th.  Do you have the capacity to
allow this?
