An interesting connection came up at AWARE's discussion on war and racism
yesterday --

one of the presenters, David Roediger who is interim director of the U of
I's Center for Democracy in a Multiracial Society, mentioned that his son
is active in a move to establish a Citizen Police Advisory Board in St.
Louis. Might be worth following up.
