Google has just added satellite photos to their mapping.  A while back they'd 
bought Keyhole Corp, which carried color sat images for US intelligence, and 
now it's integrated on their site:
http://maps.google.com/

I just entered in the white-window:
myStreetAddress., City, ST Zip  and
Calgary, AB
... and it got it right every time.  At first you get a (quality) traditional 
map, but in the upper-right is the link to sat images.  (Nur Nordamerikaner 
können zutreffen)  The coloring can be a little queer, but whadda ya want?  
GPS reference, and rez to 1m?  

Maybe the license allows non-profits to republish.  I'm no fan of Google (alt  
clutsy, er, clusty.com), but it's nice to see them doing something good with 
all their money.
