The mesh networking software is still a testing release.  It works -- but 
we haven't gone to version 1.0 yet.  Until then, we're testing the 
software, fixing bugs, and adding features.  The 0.5.5 release is now a 
bit dated -- your best bet is to build directly from source for the most 
up-to-date features and fixes.
