[CUWiN-Dev] IPv6 for Community Networks: Back from the Dead.

I would much prefer to use IPV6, but most of us who do already have a global
address block. Is the CU address space you refer to, to be instead of the
10...? ("site-local")  Global addresses should serve 99% of our purposes;
all nodes should be visible on the internet. (with a good firewall of course)
If you are referring to a global block, right on, that would be cool.

We've set aside IPV6 for now, because of the many other significant technical
challenges, such as beating Belkin's arse for the toolchain etc (in
cooperation with gpl-violations.org), porting HSLS/scripts/etc to Linux,
grafting in a captive portal, creating web-based controls, etc.

I just no longer think we can do it all in an economically-feasible amount of
time, especially given that I am not a C coder, much less add IPV6.

I was in Chicago Tue-Thu, but didn't have time to stop in CU. I'll be happy
to help as best I can.

Best,
