Well, 0.5.4 was a stopgap to get something up until 0.5.5 was ready (which 
ended up finding a couple bugs that we fixed).  I would say upgrade to 
0.5.5 and continue the rollout.  Once every node have either 0.5.4 or 
0.5.5 we can go back and upgrade the 0.5.4 nodes (unless folks think that 
0.5.4 and 0.5.5 will conflict somehow).
