I have collected a lot of hslsd core dumps from our nodes. In some dumps,
it looked like some linkstates were getting corrupted, double-freed,
or both. In other dumps, it looked like the event library's data
structures had been corrupted. One very telling core made me wonder
whether ETX and HSLS had independent ideas of where the event queue's
data structures were!
I can remember weird stuff like that happening when I have linked things
in the wrong order, so I went and fixed the order of all the -l options
in the Makefiles. I rebuilt hslsd and all of its libraries from scratch,
and I upgraded a bunch of our nodes to test. A lot of the upgraded nodes
have been running about 5 hours, now, without a single one producing
a core. Let's see if they will run 24 hours without a core.
