[CUWiN-Dev] Transmit power control

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a way of TPC with CUwireless mesh on the conventional
hardware (soekris, CM9 atheros radio).

In the web-document of "Beyond OSI: Further Work Outside the Scope"
(http://www.cuwireless.net/OSI/beyond_scope.html), I have found the mention
below:

ESTIMATE: 1-2 weeks to implement the transmit power API that CWN designed in
2003 for both ADMtek and Realtek radios. 1-2 weeks to design and implement
(for both ADMtek and Prism) a carrier-sense threshold API.

Regarding the carrier-sense threshold, AFAK, off-the-self 802.11 devices do
not expose the interface for carrier sense. Then, any API for TPC is
available?
I tried but was able to find such (user-level) APIs in the current CUWiN
source codes except some tx-power related variables in the ath.c deriver
file.

As this page was written in 2003 and it was "future work", the situation
could be changed. However, I'm asking just in case.
