Could someone get back to Chao Fang, as I didn't actually know that
there was a change? I'm assuming he should set it to x86, but please let
me know for sure.

Ross

I downloaded the Trunk files again today and tried to make a new build.
It seems there is a new parameter required in the .mkstabootrc file,
MACHINE_ARCH. What shall I set it to? Thanks.

    Chao,

I didn't get the update finished until Wednesday, so if you tested the
instructions on Tuesday, they weren't updated. That said, you should be
able to get the node up without an Ethernet connection to your laptop,
but it will require the POE connection. (Sorry if that is too obvious,
but I just want to make sure we are covering all the
    potentialities.) If
you dial our number, which is 217 278-3933, you should be able to get
Dave's extension. I'm not exactly sure what his extension is because
    our
    telephone system is funky.

You ask about how to get involved with the open source work we are
doing. Because your technical skill is highly advanced, I think you
    will
benefit from getting onto the dev-list, which you can sign-up for at
this site: http://www.cuwireless.net/lists At this moment, Dave
organizes all the development work. By joining and participating in the
dev list, you are making an enormous contribution to the project. In
fact, I would report all of your problems to the support list, which is
also available at that website. On that list you have a wider number of
    people to consult.

As for Dave's schedule, I know he had a deliverable due Friday, so I'm
guessing that he is probably just getting around to responding to
    things
    this week.

Let me know how I can help in the future.
