I assume the plaque is ordered?    Please confirm this important piece of
the puzzle.

I will do my best to get the word out now.

Getting the press there may make up for the lack of notice - if folks see it
in the paper, that would help.  We need our own write up on ucimc.org that
we can send to folks.

This event was designed to accomplish several goals in one:
- tie the current postmaster closer to the IMC
- get council and mayor to feel like the IMC building is something they want
to invest in as a historic property and community center.
- get the historic preservationists working closer with us before we make
some asks about the WRFU tower
- thank Carl and his family

It can't do that now, but we owe it to Carl to go through with it.  Let's
think through how to accomplish those goals in a different way.
