I'm making this more or less final. 6-8 should be plenty of time,<br>
right? Three hours seems long. This will be the text that I start<br>

On June 3, 2010, from 6-8pm I'm co-hosting an Open House to introduce<br>
the MakerSpace Urbana to friends and colleagues and to raise funds to<br>
for this important project. I hope you will join me for an evening of<br>
food, fun, and an introduction to the Makerspace.<br>
<br>
Makerspace Urbana is a community electronics lab dedicated to enabling<br>
the blend of arts, humanities, science and technology. Our mission is<br>
to provide an open community lab where people of diverse backgrounds<br>
can learn, teach, tinker, collaborate, share, innovate, socialize, and<br>
create. A small group of colleagues and I have been working for the<br>
past six months to build our lab and we would be honored if you would<br>
attend our first Open House!<br>

We're located at 202 S. Broadway Ave in Urbana at the Urbana-Champaign<br>
Independent Media Center<br>
