Hi Makers!<br><br> I am helping to organize the UC-IMC's IndyMedia & Arts Lab,
a summer camp for underprivileged youth aged 13-16. We are looking for
people to do
lunch presentations on a variety of indymedia topics & projects
from a variety of angles.<br><br>
In your direction, I'm looking in particular for someone to present on those aspects
of DIY/internet & info activism/hacker ethos most immediately
appealing to teenagers. Brian Duggan is planning to do a workshop
elsewhere in the camp assembling this perplexing apparatus
(<a href="http://www.paia.com/bckit1/">http://www.paia.com/bckit1/</a>), so I'm imagining a presentation that
would paint a wider context for that kind of thing to fit in. But
really, if you'd like to present on any aspect of the widest definition indymedia, please let me know!<br><br>The camp is happening at the IMC from July 26 to August 5 (2
weeks of Monday thru Thursday), for 8 possible lunchtime slots
(12:15-1pm).<br><br>Much Thanks!<br>Jacob Barton<br>Americorps, UCIMC, OddMusic, School for Designing a Society, etc.<br>
