Applications are being taken for the inaugural <a href="http://chicagosouthsidemakerfaire.com" target="_blank"><b>Chicago Southside Mini Maker Faire</b></a>. This public celebration of making by makers of all ages on <b>Saturday, August 3, 2013</b> is a great opportunity to share something you made, or a special making process, with the Chicago community. The faire will be held <b>from 11am until 6pm at Daley College, 7500 S Pulaski, 60652</b> (just 2 miles south of Midway airiport) with ample free parking. Participation is free for makers who are not selling anything, but there are limited booths available.</div>

Selected makers will exhibit projects that are interactive, provide an opportunity for visitors to learn about your project and/or process, and are fun. Projects can be made by individuals, teams, school groups, Senior Living Communities, scouts, hobby clubs, 4-H clubs, actually, anyone! (Makers under 18 must have an adult representing them and present in their booth at all times) Projects can be physical or digital, they just need to be engaging.</div>

<b>Early Bird application deadline is June 22</b> (notifications go out June 29) and <b>final applications are due July 4</b> (notifications go out July 11). Not exactly sure what you want to bring, but know you do want to exhibit? <b><a href="http://Callformakers.org/CHIss2013" target="_blank">Apply now</a>,</b> share your plans and receive feedback before the decision date. You can edit your application until July 4th.</div>
