[Imc-outreach] cooperative workshop in May

The Urbana IMC is going to hold a workshop/teach-in on Cooperatives in mid to 
late May. Mostly it will be an informational presentation for those 
interested in cooperatives as an economic alternative on a local level 
followed by a session of Q & A. All the presenters will be local people with 
experience in forming cooperatives and other alternative businesses.

Walter Matherly has worked for the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) 
in Somerville, MA (which is a research and consulting firm for people 
interested in forming cooperatives) and he said he would love to contribute. 

Sigfried from On the Job Consulting has said that he would be interested in 
taking part, and the Common Grounds Food Coop as well.

And myself, Dave Powers, one of the founders of Moth Light Design Collective.
 
There is a .rtf file attached that is an rough outline of the workshop, and 
anyone can send me comments or questions which will be helpful... so feel 
free to forward them to me. 
The next meeting at the IMC will be Sat. April, 29 at 11:00 and all are 
welcome of course.
