IMC Outreach minutes 12-1-04

Brochure
Jane has a draft of the brochure. Yay!
Comments on Meghan's letter for brochure: don't mention Bush directly
Jane will email Darrin with draft of brochure to see if he can make it 
pretty by next Wednesday.
We'll make maps with folks next week at our folding party!
Jane will remind people to come to our folding party at steering tomorrow, 
and Meghan will send out an email to IMC list and on IMC website.

Art Theater
Maybe make a separate brochure for Art Theater, especially for older 
patrons?
Lunafest--Starts at 1 PM, women's film fest
Colleen is not sure when the movie breaks are, but we would need people at 
12:30 PM and then at breaks, and then when the movies are out. It would be 
good if some women from the IMC could go talk the IMC up. Jane can go at 
12:30, can someone else out there in list-land come to help?

We also gave Colleen some materials to take to the Art Theater.

Parade!
Dec. 4, line-up at 4:45 PM in the parking lot behind the News-Gazette
rules: 1. all participants must be lighted
2. no throwing things, but candy can be distributed
3. children under the age of 12 cannot walk
4. all entries must depict the theme "let it glow"

13. no drinkin
14. only holiday music is to be played or sung, and music cannot interfere 
with music of other floats
16. no live santas!
17. parade martials can throw us out if they think we are disobeying the 
rules

we will all meet at 4:45 PM in the news-gazette parking lot. please come! 
it'll be so fun!

Meghan will call and make sure we are still entered since we didn't hear 
about the meeting.
