Below is an invite to "Art Night", for this coming Thursday December
2, 2005 - University YMCA (1001 S. Wright Street Wahl Room)
6pm-10pm co-sponsored by many organizations (see below for specifics).

The hopes is to create an atmosphere of deeper community understanding
and expression that we are not ordinary exposed to - from fellow
students, friends, profs, community members.

There is still room on the schedule to share your own form artistic
expression.  Email galicia at uiuc.edu if you would like to be included. 
The organizers are encouraging paintings, spoken word, video
productions, poetry, short stories, dance, food (pot luck)---  you
name it.  There will be a kick-ass PA system available and we all plan
on dancing the last few hours of the evening.  DJ Abel from LA will be
setting the groove.

The other thing that was hoped is that socialjustice organizations
will be present so they can table information about their mission,
upcoming events, etc.  So please forward this to others you think
might be interested in participating.
