Outreach Meeting Notes 3/13/05
Attending: Ellen (notetaking), Jane, Colleen, Meghan (via phone)

Boys and Girls Club: The Boys and Girls Club is interested learning
more about the IMC. Colleen has been a contact for them, but she is
feeling overwhelmed with work right now. Jane will get in touch with
the Boys and Girls Club and let them know about the up coming
orientation.

Orientation: 
-flyering- Jane has made the flyers. Jane and Colleen will flyer tomorrow
-PSA- Meghan will take care of PSA
-Working Group Representatives- Ellen will email working groups
-Membership Booklet- Ellen will try to revise by next Wednesday so
Jane can make copies.

Outreach Volunteers: Ellen sent email asking for volunteers who would
be willing to staff tables, flyers, help with mailing, ect. She has
already gotten two responses. If you would be willing to Staff an IMC
table, make fliers, distribute fliers, or help with mailing please let
Ellen <radicallibrarian at gmail.com> or outreach
<imc-outreach at ucimc.org> know.

Allied Media Conference: Do we want to have a table? Perhaps if enough
people are going and are willing to staff the table. Ellen will send
and email to the list to see if there is interest.

The Direct Action: Addressing Sexual Violence within Activist
Communities  workshop is this Saturday April 16 at 2pm at the IMC.
Because there will hopefully be people from other organizations there,
we should have people from the IMC ready to give them info about the
IMC. Jane will be there.

Healing Works: People have been coming in to see the Healing Works Art
Exhibit. Yay!
