[Imc-summaries] Free Speech is Dying

Recently, the <a href="http://www.dailyillini.com">Daily Illini</a> has come
under criticism for publishing ads in the name of Free Speech. Two weeks ago,  they ran an ad by David Horowitz which was a series of arguments against affirmative action. This past Thursday they ran another ad by the INITIATIVE project, which argued that views they don't agree with should not be protected by free speech. What follows is an unedited copy of a letter sent to the DI in response to their critics, and to them. The letter that ran in the DI was stripped of mention of the Independent Media Center.
