"Free Trade" is good for farmers, right? American workers already know how bad NAFTA has been for them- hundreds of thousands of jobs have been lost since it went into effect. Farmers have been a little more insulated by the equity positions they hold in their farms, but the harsh realities of "free trade" are a big part of the current crisis in agriculture. This article explains why. Be sure you let Tim Johnson know that Fast Track Authority to implement the Free Trade Area of the Americas is also a BAD idea. ML
