your application information in eGrants.  Remember to save early and save

Keep in mind that *May 31, 2011* is the deadline for your application
submission in eGrants.  All other deadlines mentioned in additional
application instructions do not apply to Program submission.   *All
applicants are asked to apply for level funding or a budget reduction with
the understanding that the Illinois AmeriCorps budget has been reduced by
the Corporation.  The Commission will make final funding decisions based on
the Formula Allocation Budget predetermined by the Corporation.*

In 2011, the Commission expects to invest a significant amount of available
funding to programs working in CNCS’s six Focus Areas of *Disaster Services,
Education, Environmental Stewardship, Healthy Futures, Opportunity, and
Veterans and Military Families. *

In addition, the Commission strongly suggests that Illinois AmeriCorps
programs utilize CNCS’s National Performance measures in the six Focus Areas
for one or more of their performance measures.
