So out of habit I logged out of QB today. I did not log out yesterday but do not know if Jason logged on after I left. When I arrive at IMC this morning, I did have to log on... and it worked beautifully too.<br><br>I added QB test to the finance agenda thinking that this may be a time when Jason and I are both in the office to do the testing. <br>

I'm unsure that registration is a necessity to continue using<br>
QuickBooks. The app is licensed with our key - I wonder if the '14 days<br>
to register' is a scare tactic for Intuit to collect marketing and usage<br>
data from its customers. The issue with registration is that it requires<br>
a funcitonal IE, which is difficult to achieve on Windows Server 2008<br>
for some reason. Please bear with me; I am a novice Windows administrator.<br>

I will contact Intuit if I can't find this information in the QuickBooks<br>
documentation. First I have to find the QuickBooks documentation.<br>

Here's a breakdown of stuff that needs work on the Finance machine:<br>

1. QuickBooks multi user<br>
probably working, requires testing<br>
2. Allow multiple RDC connections to finance computer<br>
unconfigured<br>
3. IMC VPN on Windows<br>
working, unfriendly configuration<br>
4. Local backups<br>
in progress, currently not working<br>
5. QuickBooks registration<br>
depends on 6<br>
6. Tone down IE security<br>
?????<br>
