Hi all,<br><br>Thanks for your work. I can fwd this to the Sustainers and see if they have any additional comments (and they <i>always </i>have additional comments). I've been a little out of the loop w/r/t the language change, and we need to be changing the name of what is now called the Sustaining Fund into what is called the Contributing Fund, and I had proposed (to consent) that we revise that middle group to include not just recurring gifts, but folks donating annually $51-249. Is this a matter for me to talk to Brian or Chris about?<br>

All,<br>I'll certainly change this on the Donate page TODAY. I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest that any tech support or website needs be communicated to the Tech listserv in addition to emailing or talking with Brian D. Unfortunately, since the request didn't go to our list, neither I or Josh or anyone else on the list saw it or knew about it. <br>
<br>I'll also encourage everyone outside of the tech group to look for and attend our upcoming workshops. The whole idea of our website is that everyone on our staff can contribute to editing and adding content, not just a chosen few techies. So we'll provide training, but you will be empowered to make changes yourself. <br>

Actually, I'm not sure what you've got here really works with what's<br>
possible from PayPal.<br>

Your options are buttons that allow folks to donate a set amount and<br>
buttons that allow them to donate an arbitrary amount. There's no way<br>
that I've found to set a range of allowable input into the donation<br>
field. So it's either:<br>

Click here to donate $100:<br>
<button><br>
<br>
or<br>
<br>
Click here to donate another amount:<br>
<button><br>
<br>
which leads to a blank input field.<br>
<br>
In the interface you've described, all five buttons would link to the<br>
same PayPal donation page - the one with the arbitrary amount field.<br>
<br>
I would recommend simply outlining the ranges of contribution and then<br>
having a single button for people to click on - the one that goes to the<br>
arbitrary field.<br>
<br>
Does that fit what you need? If so, then I can go about creating the<br>
page you described as soon as I get a chance.<br>
