A point of clarification that should or may be in a help document somewhere, a subscriber to any <a href="http://chambana.net" target="_blank">chambana.net</a> listserv can edit their options, including name, email address and receipt options. Please see the instructions below on how to edit your list options. The example used is taken from the IMC-tech list. <br>
<br><font size="4"><b>How to edit your mailing list options for Chambana.net listservs</b><br></font><br><font size="4">1. At the bottom of every Chambana.net list there is a "footer" that contains a couple links. It's similar to this:<br>

In recent days, I've dealt with several cases where people with University email addresses are having troubles with either their <a href="http://lists.chambana.org" target="_blank">lists.chambana.org</a> email or with Yahoo email.<br>

This is caused by the switch from the old @<a href="http://uiuc.edu" target="_blank">uiuc.edu</a> to the new @<a href="http://illinois.edu" target="_blank">illinois.edu</a> address. Generally, your email name in front of the @ stays the same. However, the part after the @ changes. When the servers you've used previously for email start seeing the @<a href="http://illinois.edu" target="_blank">illinois.edu</a> address, they do NOT recognize it.<br>
<br>
In general, the easiest thing to do is to subscribe to the email list involved using your new @<a href="http://illinois.edu" target="_blank">illinois.edu</a> address. To avoid duplicate messages, you'll need to set the old @<a href="http://uiuc.edu" target="_blank">uiuc.edu</a> address to no mail.<br>

You may want to unsubscribe your old address, but you should consult with the mail admin first to be sure you don't lose any access the old address may have given you. In the case of the lists that the IMC uses on chambana, there is no editing or other functions associated with your old email account, so there shouldn't be an issue with those accounts.<br>
