Hello all, <br>This Saturday the Tech group plans to upgrade the network infrastructure running to the production room, finance office, and wrfu studios. <br>The upgrade involves installation of a managed switch machine in the production room to serve the separate networks in use there. This installation will improve our ability to provide these areas of the building with secure, private networks needed for IMC business, and also allow better connectivity to extend the IMC public wireless network in the main space.<br>
<br>Downtime will be kept to a minimum, but this announcement is to inform working groups of internet access downtime in these areas. Other areas of the building (such as wifi in the main space) will not be affected. <br>
