Hello dan and all,

Thanks for working on design and tech stuff to get IMC-US launched.

I've been looking at some of the dadaIMC sites in the US and I wanted to
mention the way they are displayed (on a MAC using Apple's Safari
browser). I believe adjustments can be made under the "themes" tab on
dadaIMC sites.

I like the way that screen is filled in completely from left to right, as
opposed to gaps of space on the side of the page. (I am not sure if there
are tech reasons for having the sapces though...)

I like the way these dadaIMC sites fully stretch from left to right:
http://dc.indymedia.org
http://santacruz.indymedia.org

But, I find these dadaIMC sites too squashed together from left to right
http://www.ucimc.org
http://atlanta.indymedia.org

http://madison.indymedia.org looks nice too.

I hope that IMC-US will default to the wide-screen theme for IMCs using
dadaIMC.

You can see a list of IMCs using dada software by visiting:
http://dadaIMC.org

and, though I am not yet too familar with it... there is also a dadaIMC
bugs and future devolpment page at: http://bugs.dadaimc.org

[ topic pages are an important issue for me, that i would like to see
worked into dadaIMC -- see http://portland.indymedia.org (on MIR) and
http://indybay.org (on sf-active) for examples of IMCs with very useful
topic pages.

I'm part of the editorial collective at Santa Cruz IMC and we have been
usng dadaIMC for a while now. There are many aspects that I really enjoy,
and others I hope to see improve.

I hope that as more people continue to work on local IMCs, empire IMC,
topic IMCs, and Global IMC, we (as a global network) can get to a point
where it will be easy for a new IMC collective to form and get access to
cool features right away and have a great looking, easy to use IMC website
very quickly.

The IMC network has become more dynamic over the 4 years of Indymedias.

Thanks all.

~Bradley
