[IMC-US] PROPOSED: Arafat on the verge of death

I agree. This is what I propose.

temporarily:
The arafat feature goes up on global. Us imc can do either a short center
column feature or even a syndicated feature on the newswire that links to
the global feature (gives new meaning to the motto "global is local". ;)),
or as bht suggested, we depend on local imcs to cover global issues with
their own local focus.

longterm: 
This might be too radical an idea, but we find space on our page for
"syndicated global features." a narrow column with *just* headlines from the
global feature page that link to the global site.
 I think this would help us more clearly define both site's roles. Crazy?
