hi.  okay, the top feature ont he promoted feature wire, Tom Ridge
Announces Inauguration Security Plans, was promoted in a wrong way :-)

whoever featured it went in to edit the article to add links at the
bottom, and then chose from the drop-down menu 'feature'

this then gave the article a us.indymedia.org article number and featured
it as if the article existed somewhere else on us.indy....which it doesnt.

so when asking the database to show you the rest of the article you'd get
an error.

to prevent this in the future:  use the promoted local feature option in
the drop-down.  the local features are brought in with a bunch of relevent
information in relevant fields.  to preserve that, the just remember,
whenever you want to promote a syndicated local feature be sure to make it
a 'promoted local feature.'

if you want to feature an article from the open publishing newswire, then
the process is different and that can be explained when necessary or
requested.
