[IMC-US] op wire

i've also been mightily impressed with the op wire...

maybe i could whip up a little box that would sit above the local
features wire which would list the most recent couple of op posts...

we should also consider center-columning exceptional posts(there's one
about the 100+ protests in the us since the election that i think is
worthwhile...)
