hey there,

i'm happy to hear that St. Louis IMC is getting a fully functional site up
and running again!

Regarding nasty emails about dadaIMC.... I really hope they are not sent
on this list, etc.... it is not productive at all.

SC-IMC was one of the first sites to run on the orignal version of dada
and SC-IMC has been one of the first sites to install dada .99 as well. I
do not know anything about tech (please re-read that last point...). But,
i've been working closely with spud to find bugs (and he's been quickly
fixing them) and give him feedback about the software from the perspective
of a 'normal user' and as an editorial volunteer.

Right now, I'm pretty happy with SC-IMC and the way the site works with
dadaIMC .99
(once a few more things happen, i 'll be even happier....)

SC-IMC has already made a lot of customizations to dada .99

There are several things about dada .99 which I am not a fan of. In most
cases, SC-IMC tech volunteers (including spud) have been helpful in
getting SC-IMC to work they way and I others involved in sc-imc want the
sire to work. But, perhaps those functions which i don't like may be
useful to other people and other IMCs.

Betsy, I wish i could help you 'add graphics, change colors/fonts, move
shit around' but i don't know how to do these things either.

I'll log on to IRC though, in case there are things i can help with.

I'm happy to help explain editorial functions.

sincerely,
Bradley
