i changed the imc us aggregator to grab:

http://la.indymedia.org/syn/production_features.rdf 

instead of:

http://la.indymedia.org/features.rdf 

(which is i guess what was listed in the contact db, now temporarily
down, so it's hard to check)

ideally this feed: 

http://la.indymedia.org/syn/production_features_long.rdf

would validate, then we could pull in full article summaries to imc-us 

according to the validator:

http://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fla.indymedia.org%2Fsyn%2Fproduction_features_long.rdf

there are some problems.  the one i know is guaranteed to break the
parser imc-us uses is the character issues.  i think that there is an
sf-active fix for this encoding problem, but i don't know the details.
