Hey there,

I probably won't be able to make it to Sunday's Noon meeting because of
a prior arrangement. I might see you all Saturday night, though.

1. Thanks, whoever signed me up for this list -- I didn't even have to
lift a finger...

2. Were there minutes from the last meeting sent to the list? If so, I
missed the cut -- could someone forward a copy? I do not remember who
all I was involved with, etc.

3. Midwifery.
The "Illinois Families for Midwives" asked if I would be a press contact
for the area, and I said yes. They have been a good source of
information from the "oppressed" side of the midwife issue, providing
facts and admitting shortcomings.
I am working on an idea for the real focus of this work -- you know,
trying to make sure we ask all the right questions. Sarah K and Molly --
I remember you both had interest in this topic. Who were the others? (if
any).

4. Area Homeschooling.
I expressed interest in helping with this topic. Who is spearheading
this one? I remember your face, but not your name (please excuse...)
I have talked with an area support group called H.O.U.S.E. that meets
once a month, usually at the Urbana Free Library, and also has play
dates for the younger children in area homeschool households. I can
easily speak with them again and get facts, pros/cons, stories from
public school experiences, etc. Just give me a shout and let me know the
direction you want to head the article in.

5. Race Inequity in Cham Pub Schools.
?? What do you need here? Just say the word.

Hmmm... hope the search for space is going well. Perhaps I'll see you
Saturday night.
